have a faultless character and are healthy. All puppies are reared in a purpose built heated whelping room, ensuring that both Mother and her puppies have the maximum amount of care needed in the first few weeks after birth. Then after this period they are treated as part of the family, this will allow them to fully familiarise them selves with a home environment. Our breeding program is targeted to maintain a strict adherence to the WUSV (The World Union of German Shepherds Societies) standards improving constantly along an impossible path towards perfection. Breeding professionally means to use any source of information that comes from the genotype and phenotype of the German Shepherds we use to select our puppies (anatomy, blood lines, behavior, individual & social development, health background information, etc.). Our kennel does not forget that a German Shepherd is primarily a working dog. Therefore we dedicate a particular attention to the psychological and behavioral aspects of the dogs we select. GSD's are one of the most easily recognised breeds in the whole world. One of the most intelligent and trainable dogs, the GSD has a reputation of being a one-man or woman dog, protective of his or her owner and sometimes aggressive towards strangers. It is true that the German Shepherd Dog’s most outstanding characteristic is his loyalty and devotion to his human family. This loyalty together with your dog’s responsiveness to command and natural suspiciousness of strangers makes the GSD a superb guard dog and protector of the family and his or her home suroundings, however, this can be a potential problem if allowed to get out of hand. This is a slow maturing breed with a long puppyhood, so you must be prepared to provide a kind but firm discipline and a secure environment to help the dog develop into a well-behaved adult. GSDs are highly active dogs, self assured and highly obedient with a willingness to learn and an eagerness to please. All this high intelligence comes at a price and this is a breed that needs a great deal of physical and mental stimulation. Trained properly from a early age the German Shepherd is the perfect dog for a family, full of loyalty to his or her owners and always wanting to please.
